Birthdays meals have to be celebrated on the exact date. If the birthday is on Sunday you can celebrate on Saturday or Monday because we are closed on Sunday. We have a veggie sandwich that you could order without cheese. You could also create your own salad without meat or cheese. Or you could have the pancakes or waffles.
I believe so. And a slice of pie. They just had an article about it.
Certainly can!
The potato soup was delicious and the half roast beef sandwich was just right. Will go again
The service was alright, they were a little busy when my family and I came in but it took a while for someone to acknowledge us and to be seated. The food wasn't great, we ordered a waffle to share with strawberries and whipped cream and the strawberries seemed like they came out of a can and the whipped cream was cool whip. Is it too much to ask for fresh strawberries? And I think most people would prefer canned whipped cream or fresh made over cool whip. Everything else we ordered was "meh".
Food was great, service was great, husband loved his pie! The servers weren't masked, but they were cleaning extensively between guests and were spacing people accordingly. When we pass this way again we'll definitely be back!
Food was wonderful and the service was excellent. We had lunch and a shared a slice of pie. Dont leave without trying the pie.
Always a wonderful place to eat!! Been going for 10 years and never a bad meal 😀 and if you have your ID with you, you get a free keal on your birthday! Highly recommend 🤩
Great people and fast friendly service. Great food
Awesome food, great service and even better pie! I was pleasantly surprised by the unassuming building and decor. Old school diner, hone town feel. I definitely recommend this place.
Amazing fish fry and apple cinnamon rolls! Service was prompt and friendly. Very reasonable prices with large portions.
this place was absolutely wonderful. the food was amazing, our server, susan, was great, and the pies were delicious. i wish i could give it more than 5 stars.
Best breakfast in Sandpoint! The French toast is unique and has the best flavor! Great hash browns, and the sourdough toast is perfect. And the pie... it's epic. My kids beg to come here.
Amazing food, great customer service, affordable prices and wonderful atmosphere!
Fantastic friendly service, great breakfast, and a really nice place. 30 years in business for the original owners, that’s amazing! I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.
Our customer service was amazing, that's why I decided to go with a 3 star. My husbands meal was fish and chips, and that was ok. Wasn't the best but it also wasn't the worst either. Decent amount for the price.I ended up going with the 6oz steak, presentation wasn't at all what I would expect getting the steak. Piece of meat and my potatoe on a smaller plate, just blahh. I love a rare steak, I have never sent a steak back because it was to rare, until today. Had no grill marks at all and was not even to temp, like not even close. Our friends we were there with, One of our friends meal was the Ruben, and it was soggy and didn't even come with thousand island dressing.... like that's part of the sandwich. Our other friend got the Navajo taco, I wanted to be impressed, but the chili on top lost me and the tomatoes weren't even all the way cut. However, like I said our waitress was awesome.
I had the English muffin with bacon, a side of hashbrowns, and me and my fiancé shared half of a cinnamon roll. ALLL OF IT WAS AMAZING. 😍😍😍
I haven't had food this good in a while, especially the pies. The staff was amazing and kind. Definitely would come back.
The staff was very friendly . But the food was not very good. I ordered a Navajo taco, the fry bread was just a deep fried bread no flavor as fry bread should be, it was smothered in a sour chili and topped with salad and random chunks of tomatoe . But the time it gets to you the bread is soggy . It is a cheap huge meal so u get full if you dont care what you eat . I also ordered the sour cream lemon pie and it was gritty and you could tell it was made from a box. My husband ordered a Reuben. It was soggy and had no thousand island on it . My friends ordered a steak and it was rare enough to moo at us. Barely even warm. We definitely will not eat here again. I gave it 2 stars because the staff was super nice . Other wise I'd give it a half a star. We drove all the way from tricities and were starving and we all know when were hungry food tastes good but I cant even say that.
The fact that all 3 of my children gobbled every morsel of the food speaks bounds on the quality of the food served here. It tastes homemade and feels homey. We had the Chicken Pot Pie, Beef and Veggie Soup and the German Sausage Skillet along with 2 cream pie slices. The owner, Rex?, made us feel at home. My kids' curiosity to the antique housewares, stove top and tools caught his attention and he gave them a tour that helped set the tone for our happy and fulfilling meal. We will definitely make this a family favorite for some good country food.
This is a wonderful little mom and pop shop. Amazing food and great service.
Food is great, waitresses are amazing. Must have the corn bread! It's just amazing
Three of us we to lunch, I had salad and clam chowder, the soup looked like it was thickened with corn starch. Flavor was average, texture was weird. The waitress must have been new because my daughter ordered chicken strips. When her food was brought out it was a small salad and 4 very small strips for 13.00, when we questioned the waitress she then brought out French fries and corn bread That were included in her meal. My niece also ordered the chicken pie and had to remind the waitress at her meal included a salad. The service was OK because it seemed as though the waitress was new and the food was average at best
They offer a free birthday dinner. They have great food most of the time and the staff are almost always nice. It can get busy but they do their best to keep things going.
Pies were amazing. They do have a 2 pie limit and they charge you more than 3% to use a card as payment.
Food was plentiful, decent prices. Had the vegetable beef soup; comes with cornbread, fresh fruit and refill. Fresh fruit turned out to be a whole apple on the plate. Soup was just barely warm. Had lots of beef slices and some chunks of beef. Refill however was severely lacking; barely warm, again, and ONE single chunk of beef. Recent addition of peas and carrots had been made to the soup pot and you could tell they were the frozen variety. Others in our group were pleased with their meal; chicken pot pie and omelet. Both items were stuffed and delicious. Not my first visit here so a little disappointed.
Terrific atmosphere. Friendly staff. Leah was our server and she was very attentive and nice. Food was great in large portions. Will definitely come back if in the area.
Good food, pleasant waitress, quick turnaround once ordered. Will be back with the kids. PS. Order the Indian fry bread with honey butter. So good!
